BBS PU sandwich HVAC duct panel is composed of exbossed aluminmum foil(or smooth aluminmum foil, or colour tin of 0.22mm thick) with self-extinguish PIR(polysocianurate) foam inside. The foil's thickness is 0.08mm. The standard size of our product is 4000x1200x20mm thick.
The density of PIR foam of our sandwich HVAC duct panels is 50-55kg per cubic meter. According to the tests of Supervision & Test Center of P.R.China, the heat conductivity of our PIR sandwich HVAC duct panels is 0.020W/(m.K), the compressive strength is 228kPa, the water absorption is 2.2%, the stablity of size is 0.3%.
BBS PIR sandwich HVAC duct panel have passed the sample tests by the Building Fire Protection Material Quality Surveillance and Examination Center of P.R.China and the fire rating meets B1 leveling(self-extinguishing), the standard of China.
Our PIR composite HAVC duct with 20mm thick weigh 1.6-1.9kg per square meter including PVC or aluminmum accessories. That means, the weight is only seventh or eighth of traditional galvanized steel broads per unit area. The exployment of HVAC duct means the reducement of dead loads of building structure and the lower cost of construction. This composite HVAC duct is highly efficient in installment and assembul. Only simple manual instruments are enough for the whole process. Moreover, the ducts are easy-alternated. Each person can install 20sqm per day, which is four or five times of the capacity of produce and installment of traditional galvanized steel duct.
